What's with Mandriva? I do not fuck! Ng to get ....?
I made my installation go wrong, or is it the way Mandriva Linux InstantOn thing really is? I can not right click the desktop, there is no Start menu, wireless internet does not work, the Sound does not work, I can not install Google Chrome, I do not know how to turn off the touchpad .... I tried another type of Linux before, it could be called Gnome, and I thought it was pretty cool. Then I went on Google and saw that Mandriva has been called the best yet this, but I think this is the dumbest thing ever. WTF? Help! Ok thank you, guys rock. I am new to much of what remains, so I'll ask a little more. When I installed the program disk partitioning or all happened and I made 21 gbs of Mandriva was 30 and left for windows. Is this a setup good enough? And one last question: can you get the desktop cube rotating in Mandriva?
If you can not right click on the desktop, then your installation has gone wrong - very wrong indeed. Linux drivers are usually pretty good, but the rest (except the start menu may be -. I will return) sounds like one of those occasional hardware problem. Firstly, if you know Gnome, then you know that instead of a start button you have an application menu in the upper left. XFCE4 for KDE and so on - although I'm looking for in a laptop with Slackware XFCE desktop and a small mouse in a blue X when the start button is on Windows. KDE has something similar there.
