How do I view my surveillance cctv cameras with my cell phone?

I’m currently reading about how your able to view your cameras over your cell phone’s internet wireless connection. But how does it work anybody have any experience with this?

I just installed a couple of these last weekend. It’s still very new technology but it’s so cool. Here’s a run down of what I did.

I installed one DVR at home and one DVR at my business. First make sure that your DVR has this option and your cell phone need to have whats called RTSP (Real Time Streaming Protocal) more and more newer good phone have this.

I installed the Everfocus DVR H.264 model (also offered on the Paragon model) and my cell phone is the I phone. I down loaded an app for my phone called “streamer” then I opened it and opened a bookmark and called it RTSP://(this is where your IP goes)/live1.3GP and then bam! I can see my cameras. Real easy. I can only view one camera at a time and to switch to camera 2 I replace the 1 with a 2 and the same for camera 3 and 4.

Now I can see what’s going on at the office and see what the dumb dogs are up to at home! Sweet!
