Wire Outdoor
What is the best point of Entry to bring outdoor wires Indoors?
I am going to be installing security Cameras outside my home. I need to get the wires to a reciever which will be stored indoors- My question is- what is the best way to get these wires indoors? I'm not used to installing things outdoors and running them inside so id have no idea what a typical point of entry would be in this case? thanks for your help

Since you are installing security cameras I assume the wiring will be high. If you do not want to drill holes in your walls you could bring the wiring through the vents in the attic area.
For the stealthiness of security cameras I suggest drilling holes in the wall as close to the camera as possible and bring the wires to your receiver through the attic. Be sure to seal around the wires entering with silicon for moisture and general weather sealing. If you have cable or telephone service penetrations, take a look at how this was wired into your house as an example.
