How do I watch shows on my DVR when my account is suspended?
I suspended my DirecTv account for a few months, thinking I could still watch what was already recorded, but I can't get the list of recordings to come up. HELP!
As the previous comment states the DirecTV DVR's will not even allow you to watch what is on them without a Valid Subscription card. With the DirecTV Tivo units you can still watch what is already recorded even when the subscription os off, but when DirecTV went to their brand of DVRs this function is cut off.
With the DirecTV Tivo's there is an error message stating to contact DirecTV to activate your account, but you can still hit the DirecTV button on the remote and it will go to the now playing list, then you can watch what is on there. You can try this on your unit but I am ALMOST positive this function is locked out with their newer DVRs.
