Sony Super
How do I eliminate the slow "Strobe" effect when filming old Super 8 home movies w/ my Sony Digi Camcorder?
Trying to make a Family DVD for X-Mas !
Hello. I hope this helps.
If I am understanding your question, you have your Sony camcorder mounted on a tripod, etc. and it's recording an image of video originally filmed in 8mm displayed on a screen or wall? (In essence, you're trying to transfer an older formatted 8mm film movie onto a newer format (Hi 8mm or Digital and then perhaps burn onto a DVD to perserve the memories?)
I think the problem comes in from the camcorder being able to syncronize with eachother. Similar to video being shot of a computer screen and you see the line that slowly rising or falling on the image-the camcorder has to has a specific setting built-in to accomodate it.
Perhaps try Sony's website and look for discussion groups-you might find the exact answer-step-by-step that you need.
