Micro Body

January 18th, 2011 admin Comments off

how would you know when micro tears are comin out your body through stretching?

can you feel it? would you know it's coming?

The tears you are referring to typically don't result from static stretching(example: holding a stretch for 30 seconds). They are a result of weight training.

It is possible to damage muscle or tendons(muscle to bone) if you are performing the stretch incorrectly i.e. bouncing, poor form, etc. You would feel this kind of injury, it's similar to the feeling of "pulling" a muscle.

When you create micro tears in muscle fibers from lifting weights, you do not feel it. Sore muscles is not a result from tearing them, it is because of metabolic acidosis. Hope this helps, feel free to email me if you have any further questions or need further explanation.
