Using my Digital Camera on a 10-day trips?

I will one day 10 trips to Greece and I was wondering if it is more convenient for travelers to use rechargeable batteries in their digital camera or use a different type of battery such as lithium batteries for they travel. Any suggestions on what type of batteries to buy and how long they would last would be great

Assuming your camera uses AA batteries .... If U-wear non-Rechargeable Lithium AA, so if your batteries go dead during the trip, U'll to buy new or make lots of parts spare with you. If U put rechargeable AA, U need to put a charger and a Plug Adapter. And U should bring a spare set of batteries too. And the charger is be compatible with 120V AC 220V AC and Europe. In the longer term, rechargeable AA are actually cheaper than lithium. However, the initial investment is somewhat higher. So, some recommendations for U: 1) Batteries --- get "preloaded" (also called "low flow") NiMH AA Sanyo Eneloop be, Kodak Pre-charged, etc. 2) Chargers: make sure it can handle 120V to 240V. --- I prefer Maha chargers that U can obtain international travel. Maha MH-C204W Example (Input AC 100V ~ 240V AC ~ 50/60Hz) 3) simple adapter for travel. Where to buy: U can find stuff to http://www.thomas-distributing.com or even department store or amazon.com The good thing about rechargeable batteries is that U can continue to use even after U at home. Pre-charged NiMH batteries last longer and keep well, even holding a load on the shelf for a year. They are a good choice.
