Getting a fallen tree in the front yard how can you disconnect the power cord?
We get a massive tree cut in our front yard (a company did that for us). Our power cable (from power lines to the house) goes straight through branches of the tree (unsafe!) Who can I contact to get disconnected? Power company AGL is and I can not call them anywhere! I mean that we can do? preferably free!
The electric company will come out and disconnect the power supply line the pole to the house and reconnect later. I had this done several times, they generally do not charge for the service if it is made during normal business hours, (which varies from company to company). Your tree service needs to know where to turn. Service of the tree should be taking care of what part of the service (if they are professional and competent). If you want to take care of that, you do not go through the regular customer service, but rather the exposure and / or maintenance supervisor. Each company is different, but they all generally work the same.
