Cctv Camera ERROR TV Screen?
I recently bought a simple Camera Surveillance camera surveillance wire. Installation was no problem. I need 30 meters of wire from my front door to my television. Between I had to add a bit of wire if so I welded a few lengths. The device works well. Even the sound. But I always get those two lines fuzzy on the screen that keep going up and down the screen. They are very annoying. Is it perhaps because the wire is 30 meters long? The camera does not really work well because when I connected directly to my tv it was 100% clear!. Or perhaps the type of yarn that I used for this? (I used phone wire, as it has 4 son. I used 2 for video and 2 audio). I really frustrated. Can someone try to help and guide me please?
Whatever type of cable you use, you encounter a phenomenon called "Hum" or "Rolling picture. Read this for a great explanation http://svconline.com/mag/avinstall_losing_hum_bar/ for CCTV, this resolved using a bar of Hum or ground loop Isolator as they are sometimes called.
