Is there a conversion between f stop and resolution?

Is there a conversion between f stop and resolution? I asked a question yesterday about f stop, but I guess I wasn't specific enough. Let's say I have a six megapixel camera. What f stop would a pinhole camera have to be for the image to be as clear as a regular lense focused image? What about 12 megapixels? Obviously I'm talking about photographing a stationary object with a stationary camera.

Resolution has to do with on a digital SLR the mega pixel and sensor size. The larger the sensor the better. The problem that encounters is that people tend to buy a camera with a very high count of pixels yet the camera has a small sensor. (sales tactic) In essence don't worry to much about the amount of pixels worry about how large the sensor is a 3 mega pixel camera has the ability to take better photos then the 10 if the 10 mega pixel camera has a small sensor. F stop controls the aperture how much light you allow to hit the sensor when the shutter opens and closes. This changes at any given time depending on your light meter) but does not effect the resolution of the photo. The sensitivity of the cameras sensor has to light (ISO) changes the resolution and has a direct effect on the image quality. It's the same as film you have a film speed of 400 and well on most camera you can trick the film to be more sensitive eg push it to 800 1600 etc etc thus changing the sensitivity.Then adjust the speed (how fast all this happens) Though with film the speed of the film put in is your starting point.
