video stuck in recorder?
My video is stuck in the recorder, think I put it in lopsided, now I cant get it out. What do i do, can it be fixed?
Don't try pushing the tape around, you could cause more damage.
Just unplug the VCR, unscrew the top, lift it off and gently remove the tape. It's easily done and the safest way, I've done it plenty times when a tape has broken (the plastic box not the actual tape) and when my mam put a new tape in without removing the cellophane.
It'll just take a few minutes. and you can blow out some dust from inside while you've got the top off!
