Taking pictures at night with disposable cameras?
Is there a certain disposable camera that's better at this? Because every time I try it just comes out at black static with maybe some faint shadows even with flash on. Should I be doing something different? I want to take pictures of the city at night, right now I can't buy a digi cam so that's why I'm using disposables. Thanks for any help!
Not going to happen. You need to take control of the camera to make it do what you want it to do. Disposables are set at (lets say) f/8, 400 1/125. with a 36GN flash; all set up for sunny days and people standing 3 ft from you in the dark. No other situation will ever give you a picture with disposables. You need to change the exposure.
A used 35mm slr is a great choice for a beginner. If I could I would throw a C3 at anyone who mentions photography. Control of the camera is what makes good picture, or any pictures in this case.
