Led Diy
How to DIY build an existing LCD/LED *panel* into a video monitor?
To clarify - this would be an independent panel ; http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130339983728&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT , with no electronics to make a *video monitor*.
It would require ONLY inputs/controls for: video/composite inputs, brightness/contrast, aspect ratios: 4:3/16:9, HDMI (not essential), sound thru (to minijack for headphones).
Ideally an existing video component would feature all these, and more, features - but the above are essential.
I understand this would require various components and am seeking advice for: A) Sourcing them, B) Putting it together - inclusive of any required equipment.
Thanks in advance for your feedback!
It is REALLY hard to make a display out of a panel and nothing else. Plus the display is only 1024*600 pixels, not even HD.!
You need a video processor, you need to do color matching, you need to tweak tons of color parameters.
