How do I install Mac OS Tiger 10.4 on an Intel Dual-Core PC, 1 GB of RAM with pre-installed Windows XP SP2.?
Hi all ... I have a PC with Intel Dual-Core (2.8) processor, 1 GB of RAM and 80 GB hard drive. I am having Winodws XP SP2 installed on this PC. Now I want to use Mac OS Tiger 10.4 on this machine. Is it possible to install Mac OS on a standalone PC with the above specifications. If yes, how can I be able to do that ... pls help!
Hate to tell you this, but you can not use OS X that way ... you can run Windows on a Mac because of BootCamp, but you can not do vice versa (Run OS X on a PC). Apple makes its software so it only works on their own hardware ... they own like this ... --- Turban8er ... I think you're missing a huge part of the picture ... BootCamp only works on Macintosh Intel chips built. It is not good to download BootCamp on a PC ... it will not work. It made for Intel Macs, not PC computers Intel. Moreover, BootCamp will not work even if you have OS X running on your computer. What you describe is impossible ... it would be like saying that you can load OS X on-board computer of your car just because it is a PowerPC chip. It does not work that way. OS X designed to recognize only Apple integrated systems ... even if you fake it with PC parts it will not work ... He recognizes that this is not a computer Authorized Macintosh.
