Still looking for an answer to the double entry of password to gain access to my mailbox.?

The only solution I can think of relates to cookies and cache files. You may possibly have a corrupt cache file -- it makes all KINDS of things go wonky. Try this: clear your history, temporary files (these will take a while!) & cookies, restart the computer and retry. Also, you might need to reset your security access levels so that you are accepting cookies from the Yahoo site. It won't work correctly if you don't do that. Use this HELP link to see about that issue:
