can a pan tilt zoom camera run off of satellite internet, if so how?
The internet is the internet whether connected via satellite, fiber optic cable, copper... whatever - how the nodes connect really does not matter.
If the PTZ camera is an IP-based camera on a LAN, it has an IP address and can be accessed remotely, and other computers on that same LAN can get to the internet, then getting to the PTZ camera should be possible. It all depends on who set up the network, how that network can be accessed securely and remotely. That it links via satellitr does not matter - so long as it is linked to the internet correctly.
